Mozi

mozi is a GL based 3d program intended to visualize 3d molecular dynamics simulation of granular materials. However, it was already used for more than that. A small documentation and the source code is available here: mozi.

Vim is the best text editor that has ever been written. You can more information on the Vim Homepage . Here I post my macros that might be useful also for you:

XGraph

Here you may find a small and fast graph drawing program written by David Harrison University of California and improved by many others. You can use it from command line with wildcards or from pipe so it my be a great help in your work: xgraph.tar.gz
